My Satellite Setup
im newbie i have no idea about sattellitte tv and i want to wtch premiership matches so any help will be needed thanks.
this is the equipment i got but i dont knw if is the rite one
100cm Hi-Gain Soild Satellite Dish
DiSEqC 1.2/1.3 Usals Satellite

i really ned help with as i called a installer today he said he will do it for 75 pound to install 100cm motorised dish and also he will unlock all the channells that are locked if i buy the receiver from him which is tm 5200d super
so am i getting ripped of or is this what all the installers charge thank you
 
First of all, I have moved your post from 'Football by Satellite and the Law' section. Please post in the correct forum section.

Secondly, there is nothing to unlock at this time apart from some programming on 1W and that is almost fully secure. You have missed the boat by about 2 years for unlocking paid channels.

If you can get your motorised system professionally installed for £75, then take his arm off. Personally, that's a little on the cheap side for a pro installation.

i live in north london this installer said he will istall for me for 75 and if i buy tm 5200d from him for 100 pound he will unlock all the sport and movies and manymore for me thanks for the reply

i told him i already got tm1000d super but he said i cant do it with thatgh
 
You cannot get "all the channels" with that particular receiver... So basically he's talking cobblers.
 
i knew it it was too good to be true is there any installers here that live in london
 
Simple answer, pay him when you have seen all the channels you want.

Even 175 pounds is a bargain if you get what you want from the system.
 
Oh btw - if you are hoping to get Sky UK for free forget it - there are no freebies with Sky!

ill do that but i found this reciever in the net for 50 to 60 pound so i aint going to buy of him thaks for the advice

i dont want that wat i want is forgeing channels showing prem matches like 3 pm kick offs espwcially arsenal matches

when i sed i can buy of the net for 60 pound he said is not good we give you 1 year gurentee

What part of North London are you in? I do motorised installations in some London areas if it doesn't take too long to get through the traffic.

I don't mess about patching receivers though, nor do I insist that I supply a receiver, use what you want.

Besides as already mentioned, there's nothing doing on patched receivers, their time has passed.

What I do, is concentrate on installing a motorised dish properly, at a fair price. £75 is too cheap for a proper job, I have seen them.


Also, he is telling you lies of course, a TM5200 is not worth £100 and it won't do what he says. A 1 yr guarantee should be provided by all suppliers anyway.
