now i have my dish up and running pointing at good ole astra 2 are there any other birds(using the lingo) i could pick up with another lnb and if so is there anything worth watching. Wife getting a bit worried that i may be becoming obsessed
 
Astra 1 Astra 2 And Hotbird are often received together with two offset lnb's.

However it may be better to get a second dish to "play with" - mainly becuase the family is often not too impressed if they want to watch a movie over the Christmas holiday and you have the dish system in pieces so you can explore the Italian channels on Hotbird! :D

Another dish would be better to play with. Look for Nilesat at 7 West is my suggestion.

Well to a degree pace box to arrive this week, hopefuly make things better.:)
