need software upgrade for my starsat SR-X30CU usb receiver

Hi, i have a starsat SR-X30CU usb receiver and i need to upgrade its software however i can't seem to find the files on the internet. i am new to this, please help.

hi i checked that website, you're right it is listed but it shows entries for X30CU ultra usb models inside, there's only one that matches the exact name of the one i have but i think it's outdated.
do you think the ultra versions can work on mine too?

i have the factory firmware i downloaded it from the starsat website. can't i reapply it in case i installed the ultra patch and it didn't work?

The problem is that if it is the wrong patch you may corrupt the bootloader software as well which will stop you loading the correct firmware and will then require jtagging to sort out

if the loader got corrupt can't it be replaced too? will the system at least start so i can reinstall the old loader because i have the original also from the starsat website.
and by jtagging you mean to copy all the settings from a similar receiver right?

i've seen loader also.
Jtag is not easy and erase for good all memories of your receiver

It does provide for some models but not for the model the o/p has, so why bother posting or are you just plugging that site?

Indeed a lot of the links on that site give 404 errors

Ermm no, if that were possible everyone would have done it and the manufacturers would all be out of business
