Hi all
I'm new on the scene and have spent the last few days reading and some more reading.
To get moving i understand i need a Dish, and Box, a router and if I'm going to be cs'ing, then subscription to a server (but i also understand CS discussion is not allowed here)
Now my questions:
1. What kind of dish do i need and where does it need to point to. I already have a dish that points to 19.2 E Astra (not been used for about 8 years) and also have a redundant s*y dish. Will either of these 2 dishes suffice or would i need to buy a new one. I also intend to have 2 boxes on the one dish - so advise required here too.
2. As I'm a beginner, I'm looking at the Dreambox 500S (well 2 off them), loaded with Darkstar image. Does this sound about right? Is this also HD?
3. Now I'm after the usual s*y channels (as i did on my Eurovox but I've been nag3'd) - so how do i get these channels. Or is this where CS comes in and google is my friend?
Thanks for your help.
