Had a boundary dispute with next door because she wants to reverse her people carrier to the back door to save her walking 15ft. They have lost the plot, object to planning application for ridiculous reasons, rang the police because I told her to f off. I changed my 1,2 dish to 1 metre to comply with the council but now they say (of the record) its best if I don't put up my extra dish because it could by considered over size as I already have a 1 metre, but I could go back to the 1.2 when everything is passed as no one would notice the size difference. So it looks like I will have to sell my prize I won without even trying it out,
probaly best as I don't want to have the plans refused and have to appeal.

I had a similar issue a few years ago. My local council were happy enough for me to keep a 1m and a 60cm on my property.

I know the planing regs changed not so long ago where it goes by the dish literage not the size of the dish so it may be possible that you can still keep your 1.2m if it falls within the prescribed literage. As far as i am aware the regs also only apply to a permenant structure.

From what i read into that you can put the dish on a patiomount with slabs or sandbags without breaking planning regs.

I think it would be a case of speaking to the planning department again to see if this is the case.

A part of normal everyday language according to a very recent ruling in the courts.

Neighbours _can_ be a pain ..
Personally ..I try my damnedest to keep mine onside ..
I prefer to allow them to do anything ..within reason ..

Mine are fine too, if you generally get along with your neighbours you will be fine.

I'm thinking of putting my 1.2 up as had the 1metre I bought up for a while without any issue and a 60cm for 28e for years both mounted on the same pole now.
