For anyone having Problems with the FrontProcessor Update,

DreamMultiMedia has released a New Image 1.09 / 1.06

With a New FrontProcessor Update to version 1.06

Problems like
Box sleeping
Remote Control issues
Just update your DreamBox 7000

Benefits...

Less CPU usage when recording and playing. Result - Enigma responds faster.

Recording works better with higher bitrates (driver fix).

CVBS deactivated while initializing the driver, this gave lots of problems with some TV's.

Timeshifting when watching normal TV improved (rewind live TV while recording) - accounted for restarting enigma if doing a skinschange while a recording is in progress.

Fixed memory leak in enigma while handling png files

Png support for pngs with less then 8bit

Shrunk all enigma pngs

Bugs fixed in remote control setup.

Enigma cvs updated

Includes a new Front Processor update that solves the deep sleep remote wakeup problem. You can wake using the remote.

Excellent! This is the news we've been waiting for!

I'm sure sat-news have it along with many others.

This is a beta version and it is recommened not to "test" it. Having said that I've not heard of anyone that has had problems with it it.
I've not tried it yet. Any one here got it working? Comments?

Sorry, I should have mentioned it's a beta - hopefully most would see the 'b' on the file name.

From what I gather it is pretty safe. A few have reported that it has a some bugs but nothing nasty.
Its been out a while and there does not seem to have been an official release yet.
I've got the cold boot/remote problem so I think I'll load it later when I've got time.

Regardless of the fact it's a beta, if it has less problems than the official/final, it's got to be a good move. I'll load it just as soon as you lot have tested it for a month...

Well I loaded it earlier this evening. TBH I've not noticed any difference.
Remote restart still doesn't work for me (Gemini 107). No major problems though.
