As for a permanent beam, i will have to see what's parts of the bands interest me most and make a beam to suit, but i am open to suggestions.

Anywhere really CH, if I do go for a beam though it will be at a later date, my next hobby job is getting my other dish up and running.
I've managed to get the X50 installed today, I will probably put it on a longer pole at some point, and the scanner turned up, I just need to read up on how to work it now
