Come in number three, nine weeks early, but both doing well:), my daughter had to have an emergency caesarean, two granddaughters and a grandson now,

Looks very daunting but all is well I am told, she came too early and she has yet to be named :). just under 4lb at the weigh in.

Congrats. My girl was early only 1lb 8oz, 3 months in scbu. She is now 15 years old. Brings back a lot of memories ;)

Congratulations Martin, yes 4lb is healthier than it sounds, my nephew's daughter was born at 22 weeks at less than a bag of sugar in weight and is now a thriving 18 month old running her mum and dad silly

Congratulations Martin.:)

Congrats to you.

Hope all continues well for the family....can imagine the thoughts they have had and your foto is a memory jog for me.

My lad was 2.02lb but thanks to the care in the hospital all was well.....he is now 26!

......we even had a great Christmas day and dinner there!!

Best wishes for the future.

When I saw the title of the thread I was expecting to see a pic of a new dish propped up against the back wall waiting to be installed or something... Congrats.

Congratulations Mr Martin.

LOL, yes I thought it would be a dish as well! Congrats Martin.

Congrats Martin......it won't long before she'll be helping Grandad put up one of those dishes....

Congratulations.

:-bubbly

Babies always look cute. It helps that she will be making most of the noise at your daughters house. ;)

Congrats Martin.

Congrats Martin. 4 lbs is ok and as they said everything is ok.

congrats martin and hope mother and baby are doing fine

Congratulations, my other half would have preferred a four pounder to the one we had some five years back (just over double that).

The midwife said at about lunchtime the contractions meant she wouldn't be out before 3pm, so I went home to feed the cats, missing the delivery about an hour later.

I would like to thank everyone for all your comments and reassuring words:),

We now have a name for our new little girl Isabelle annie :), we are young ish grand parents me 47 my wife 45, but we are old fashioned ,

But its nice to see our daughter following the old fashioned names :),

Isabelle is needing a little help with her breathing at the moment but nothing to worry about so we are told, she could be in Hospital for the next 8/9 weeks depending on her progress, but she is in safe hands and as long as it takes it takes,

I had a good drink last night wetting our new arrivals head, and I have not been feeling very good all day :-dohself inflicted of course,

Thanks again, very much appreciated :).

Congrats martin.Missed this one somehow.Must have thought it was about a Dish.:)

Congrats! Bet you're glad that it's not you who'll be doing the nappies this time around?
