So I was having a spat at piratebaying yesterday - I know I shouldn't. One thing that popped out at me was the new Bond Titles by Chris Cornell. I've never heard of him so I downloaded the torrent.

The quality was piss-poor and so, it turned out, was the song itself. ;-((

So, I went on a quick hunt for a better quality version. Apparently, the one I found, which is a different mix, is also featured on Chris's own Myspace profile.

Seems the jury is out on whether its Bondian enough - but, if your not heading to the cinema anytime soon - take a listen and post some feedback.

Trivia cum Rubbish: SONY (those Japanese humbugs who gobbled-up MGM/UA recently) have placed the OMPS on iTunes (with 13 extra tracks). What is NOT included, is the aforementioned Title Track. One downloader who wrote on Chris's Myspace blog seemed quite pissed. I think I would be too. A Bond OMPS without the title track???

Sony are a bunch of [it begins with a W] See Thumb. I have never seen anything like it. In protest, I obtained said tracks (including Chris Cornell's track via another place) without setting foot out of the house.

On a similar note, somebody on You tube has posted ALL the bond opening titles - thats right - ALL 21.

I should have been working, but, I sat through all of them, hehe - and all the while getting terribly excited about the last one 'Casino Royale'.

After an hour of battering my senses with Bond'ness I finally got to the last one - clicked it - and, WTF!!!! :-Nooo

This video has been withdrawn due to those SONY [W word] going ape and copyright and tralalala.

I really don't think that the 21st Bond Titles are going to be doing the rounds on PirateBay somehow (although the movie itself is) sic. I have resisted any nefarious thoughts of downloading said flick. [read: no, really, I haven't downloaded it].

W*nkers, wa*kers, w*nkers. 'O'-red

I hated Casino Royale starring David Nicen and Woody Allen.

Its ironic isn't it that Columbia held the rights to the original Casino Royale (I have that on DVD) - its not that bad (mind, and this is true, I have started watching it several times and have always fallen asleep). What was it, five or seven directors on that show??

Irony, sorry, yes - SONY with their horrid mits on MGM/UA 'O'-red and now the whole back-catalogue.

Poor Mr MGM Lion - destined to Loar [pause] Loar for ever more

** conveniently forgetting, of course, that Bond was distributed through UA - not Mr. Rion ;-)

It wasn't so much David Niven, he was always a good actor. But I have really gone off that Woody Allen. I used to think he was cool in an uncool way when I was younger, and I thought he was clever and witty with it.

But now when I look at his stuff, I see it nothing more than pretentious rubbish spouted by a really ugly man who has far too many attractive girlfriends in his movies any ordinary bloke could only wish for.

I saw Annie Hall on Hispasat, and that too was a bag of s***. LOL. Really, I thought it was excellent when I was a kid. But Woody is a very bad actor and his jokes are truly poor. All that pompous pretentious rubbish he spouts is supposed to sound like his intelligent philosophy, but it's no more than a jumbled load of tripe. :D :D :D
