New Dragon Cam + Old Technomate 5500apdci

Any one help me get this working.
So far it only works with a card inserted (Sky card or the supplied Access card 9).
Other than that the only channels that decode are ORF.
Do I need to do something else ?
 
hello,
i have the use of dragon 2.06,3.02,and 4.01,and all work fine
in my 5500 dapci.
have you programmed your cam correctly with the loader card,
and dont forget to remove your loader card once youve programmed your cam,
 
Hi Jacko,
I used infinity USB and loaded predator 3.21 using the software supplied with the infinity.
Everything loooked fine, at least I got no errors and the firmware seemed to load OK. After entering my SKY box no, my SKY card works etc.

Yes I did removed the loader card and switched off and on.
Should I have swithed off at the wall maybe? (I read this somewhere today).

What version of predator are you using?
 
hello,
i am using predator version 3.21.
if your on astra 19e,theres not a lot on there at the moment that clears.
have a look at the thread for the dragon channel list.select a channel
that should clear,then if it comes up scrambled,turn the power off with the
switch at the back of your box,leave a couple of seconds then back on.
i had this problem once with one of my cams and this sorted it out.

Still no luck. Can't find anything that clears (except ORF)
I've reloaded the card, re-loaded and re-booted the receiver several times now!
I don't understand why some works but most doesn't.

I read somewhere about having to leave the channel on for several minutes for it to clear. How long does yours take to work?

I saw also on some other place a list of compatible receivers.
There where several conflicting results for the different TM5500 receivers

Also what version/firmware do you have in the TM5500Dapci
Mine is one with the "silver" remote and firmware dated from October03

dont know the date of the firmware atm.
i also have the silver remote.
the channels normally clear 1-3 seconds
are you using your cam in the bottom slot,
as top slot dosent work in mine.

Your firmware looks the same as mine...
and yes, I am using the top slot, I hadn't thought of that one!
I'll try again using the bottom slot

i think thats your problem solved if your using the top slot.
the only way the top slot works is if you get your
receiver patched,AFAIK.
