The latest "official" version of FreeCAM was released today by Arti.

Here's a little info from the readme:

"It is possible to receive EMMs for two different CA_System_IDs. The first CA_System_ID is 0602 (default Irdeto1 ID). If it is in the CAT, it is activated. The second CA_System_ID is defined by the card. Example: if you set your card to 1702 you will be able to receive EMMs for 0602 and 1702."

A character "Nullahnung" on Sathackro points out that "This means that now we are able to make AU an Premiere as well as Stream without changing card coco on funcard."

I haven't tested it myself yet, but other trustworthy sources have and report it works as designed (ie with improvements over v2018)

As far as TPSCrypt is concerned I don't see the interest (or the advantage) of choosing between TPSCrypt ON and TPSCrypt OFF since freecam2.018 decrypts TPScrypt without problems.

for me too, but I believe that some receivers give problems.

I have tried to upgrade Freecam using instructions given with the download:

To quote:

Unzip all files to a directory of your choice (e.g. C:\FREECAM)
If you run Win95 (non OSR2) delete Irdeto98.inf
If you run Win95 OSR2, Win98 or WinME delete Irdeto95.inf
If you run NT, Win2000 or XP, it won't work :-(
Insert CI in PCMCIA slot of your laptop. When it asks you for a driver directory point to C:\FREECAM
Start the MS-DOS command line. Go to C:\FREECAM and run "LOAD.EXE F2-B019.BIN"

However it does not work.

Perhaps I have not started the MS-Dos command line correctly, what I do is start from Windows go into accessories and go to MS dos promt, but this does not work, I have tried re-strarting in MS-Dos mode, but this does not work. My laptop is Windows 98.

I have then tried loading through the way you load the old freecam 2.18, (just changing over files and renaming the bin file)and it seems to work, as it gives the Freecam 2.19 on my receiver when checking together with its facilities, but it won't unscramble Premier as well as other betacrypt channels which it used to do unless I change the ECM to Irdeto only which means I have to keep swtiching the mode if I want to Seca, Viaccess or Nagravision.

Freecam 2.18 works fine anyway, it does produce an error message from time to time, but that is very rare, however with the new conax hack I heard that you could use a Freecam 2.19 with a season interface, and perhaps later on with cards and so figured out it would be a qood idea to upgrade.

Any one can help?

You don't need to use 2-019 to get conax, 2-018 works just as well.

In fact ever since this 2-019 version came out there has absolutely no reason to use it because there are no files available to make use of the new features.
