Looks interesting - virtually identical to the Octagon and Edision models. Key question- does it decode DD+?

May be tempted to get one, was going to get a SX88+ as I ended up putting the Edision Primo IP S2 in the bedroom.
 
One thing I love about that Edision is the universal remote feature, I can use one remote in the bedroom to turn the TV on/off, volume up and down and change inputs. Does this Golden Interstar have that facility? Also the online pictures all show it having a Red display, but some show Green. I'm guessing you have powered one up @World-of-Satellite, what colour is it :) ?
 
Unfortunately it seems that the remote is the same as the Octagon - so much worse than the Edision's RCU (unless F1-F4 are programmable?). TBH it's the only thing stopping me buying one.

I wonder if the Edision and Octagon RCUs are interchangeable? One for @mw963 perhaps?

Wonder how much Ram this has :)
Seeing as there are now quite a few versions of these "Linux" Based STB's, can someone please put a spectrum analyser on one and it would be near perfect!

My guess is that it'd be same as the Octagon - everything else seems to be identical.

@mw963 has confirmed to me that the Edision and Octagon remotes are not interchangeable - so there goes my plan to use the Golden Interstar box with an Edision remote. I suspect an Octagon remote will work with it, though.
