Has any one tried the latest image. Pain in the a*s with the Hydra Lucien having to reboot several times tonight after updating newcamd 5.24 keys.

After trying both images I conclude that it isn't worth updating.

My box crashes just as much as it did on Lucien

Wait for the next hydra update and ask again
 
Yeah I have always had the DB hanging problem with the Hydra images, I ran RU Cannon for about 3 weeks and it didnt lock once, changed to Angharad image and it has repeatedly locked my DB specially if fast channel changing.......

I am presently using this image (problems with Peter Pan - see earlier posts).

It does hang a lot but also has some interesting features that PP didn't have.

Miss the PP interface though.

FWIW, I believe it i newcamd that crashes, not the hydra image.
If you telnet in to the dead box, you can kill newcamd and carry on without a reboot!

After loading 2 X DB 5620s with Hydra Angharad _106 Image, I found it fairly better noting that it never hung or frooze after constantly going through almost everything with it. I decided to upgrade my Hydra Lucien image with Angharad for the 7000. At the moment it hasnt crashed yet, so here is hoping. Will post back in a few weeks if it is still operating fully without any hitches.

Believe it's the sCAMs that crash not the image.

If you can Telnet into the box and stop the CAM the box springs back to life.
