I have an account, I just tend not to use it if I can help it There was some mention on the site of the Sofort payment system - this (quite frankly insane) system has widespread use in the German speaking countries. Basically you plug in your *internet banking details* and it *logs in to your bank* and *makes the transfer for you*. Apparently it's totally secure and there have been no issues with it, but I won't touch it with a bargepole

yeah, paypal in the end. Use of Sofort would be contrary to the terms and conditions of most internet banking, although I understand that the law was specifically modified in Germany et al in order to support this use case.

So how do they stop fraud, the bank would just say it was you making the transaction on your smartphone/pc.

I can go soak in the tub now ..with a clear head ..
what a week I've had ..
HMRC being the worst part of the weeks proceedings ..
kept me waiting in a Q on the phone for 2 hours yesterday ..then another Hour getting help filling in the ridiculously long tax return form 99% of which was totally irrelevant to me ...
Hasn't done my MS any favours at all ..
Just hope the new toy is all it's cracked up to be when it arrives..
That would bring back my smile..

fwiw this lnbf _should_ imo outperform the XMW not neccessarily because it is better than the PLL XML electrically ...but maybe because the feed will be designed for optimum reception with the electronics on an offset dish .
Not expecting miracles ..but if it gains me half to 1db ..I'll be VERY pleased ...and of course will be an advantge to have both KaD and Ku at the focus..

it's been one of those weeks here. Finally got the new window fitted, and the other jobs I want done, have been quoted for. Just need to make my mind up on that.
