Think so, to get the full functionality anyway...... as they(coolstf) are offering a discount on TSreader Pro if you buy the TBS5590.
 
Seems like it has one of the known Silabs demodulators as TBS5520. This means that it supports DVBS2X but not ACM/VCM. So far I haven't heard of a tuner that supports both DVBS2X and ACM/VCM....
 
I renew this very lod discussion to get information about this product.
I have a TBS5925 now but thinking to buy something new for DVB-S2X and DVB-T2, too.
It seems interesting having all modulation types in one large box.
Do you know if EBSPro supports this hardware?
Also, ASI input speed seems little bit lower (120 MBps), but it happens very often that real speed is higher. It could be tested in real time. What do you think?
And, in general, what do you think about this device? Thanks.
 
Problem USB Interface - support only max 111.6Mbps
 
Thank you for your reply. 111.6mbps is too low. So, not the best device I'm afraid.
