Just Sharing This New mux 68.5° East

I did try again, this time with a lot more effort.

Its not coming here, so def. its not on EU/ME/CA beam. :-Axechase

It must be on Russian beam. Someone should correct flysat.

Feel free to contact them ..... that's how it works ;)

Almasport has a good signal here, but there is no trace of Tajik mux. So, horizontal polarization contours of the Russian beam may be slightly different than vertical or lower EIRP.

Here's what it can receive in my area-Romania-from EU/ME/CA beam with 150 cm dish.As how it looked on my spectrum,I think that 10972 H,15000,3/4 is on Russia beam!

EU/Af beam, EU/ME/CA and Almasport from Russia beam are receivable here in Istanbul. No problem even with a multifeed on a 65 cm dish aligned to 62E. 10972H 15000 is the only frequency I can’t receive. :confused

Any guess and suggestions??..

I think a 65 cm dish with 68.5°E several degrees off-focus, is rather at the limit!
Although the DVB-S2 parameters of Alma Sport and Tajik package are the same (7.9 dB threshold), the Tajik is 1.5 dB weaker here.

Also, the LNB may be weaker of faulty for H polarisation.

Thank you for your advice. I agree with you. It is a small antenna which will not leave bad weather margin. In the last years I am focussed on achieving better than average results with smaller dishes. That is why the dish I've assigned for the arc 60E-70E is so small. Anyway, I receive horizontal frequencies as well as verticals from Eu/Af beam with no trouble. Problem seems involved only with 10972 H polarization mux from Russia beam.
