Are you sure it's in post 28?
I can't find any links here.

The link I posted in my previous reply navigated to the "Feeds From Qatar" topic.
There is a reference to NS4 World Cup soccer feeds in post 28 of that topic.

When I said check out post 28 of this topic, I was referring to the topic that the link navigated to, not this actual "New (NS3/NS4)..." topic
Did you click the link?

Hello moonbase what do you think about this card for Novelsat

DekTec DTA-140 DVB-ASI (Coax) DVB-ASI ,Transmit Bit Rate 0…214 Mbit/s

I have never used a DekTec card but I think they are supposed to be a good quality product.

One point to note, what DVB application do you intend to use with the card?
The DekTec cards have the option to be factory enabled to use in house apps (StreamXpress and StreamXpert).

One of these in house apps cannot be enabled after market, I think it might be the StreamXpert app?
You need to check if the card supports whatever third party app you intend to use with the card or if it comes enabled with any in house apps.
I would also check to confirm if the card has drivers for whatever O/S you have on a PC.

Personally, I opted for the TBS 690A card, it works OK with the output from an NS2000 demodulator with TransEdit and DVB Dream using Windows 10.

Why not thinking to such ASI>IP converter like Dektec DTE-3120?
Probably there would be any problem with TSReader configured in Multicast mode. No drivers are needed, totally hardware device.

Have you got any experience with DTE-3120 ? I'm not sure if this will work with software such as Dvb Viewer or Dvb Dream

Thing is i have NS3000 which is modem so i should be able to send TS over IP but i 'm not sure as i'm totally new with this kind of device and i have to figure out how to setup modem to send ts packets over IP

No I only have NS3000 Modem

I know practically nothing about the NS3000 except it is a satelite modem made by Novelsat and probably costs plenty $$$.
Does it capture and decode any of the NS3 satellite frequencies from 7E or 10E into viewable video format?

If it does, it has an ASI output, have you considered using something like an ASI to SDI/HDMI converter for viewing the output?
Or, do you specifically want to send TS over IP?

I spoke with him

seller

"The NS3000 can be upgraded by acquiring licenses from Novelsat directly.
I have no details on pricing for new licenses>"

I'm wondering what demot chip the NS2000 receiver uses. Is it a fpga? Which one?

No experiences with this product. But as I know, it is an ASI to IP converter, so any software receiving TS over IP (like TSReader) could work with this device.
Never seen NS3000 modem.

In post #29 you asked about

Novelsat IP out to my computer network connection and analyze TS streams in TSReader in the same way like from the ASI out.
I'm totally stuck with right settings and configurations.
In the NS2000 menu there is no significant settings, and I don't know if TSReader must be configured in Multicast or Unicast and which IP address to use. Just tried with Novelsat main IP address but it does not work.
Could anyone please address me in the right way? Thanks.

Did you managed to get connection in that way ?

No, because we discovered that the receiver to which I have access is not licensed for TS over IP out. So IP connectors are not useable for this purpose.
