Hello,
At the moment I use a Pace D430N and there is no possiblity to receive a scond sat with this receiver.
My wife is German and wants here German Channels.
Can somone recommend a sky or sky compatable receiver that would allow me to get more than 1 sat.
Thankyou in advance.
Regards Brian

It's not just the Receiver ............... you'd need a dish aligned to Astra 1 at 19.2E. (Which I later noticed you've actually got!)

Your UK Sky box is using a dish aligned to Astra 2/Eurobird 1 at 28.2E. Do you use it for Free Channels only or do you have a Subscription? If only for Free Channels, then you don't need a Sky box for BBC etc and could get both 28E and 19E on one box using a cheap generic Receiver which will get you a great many Free To Air German Channels, or you might be able to get a separate specific box for German pay channels eg Sky Deutschland!

The Free Channels you can get are listed here _http://www.flysat.com/tv-de.php

We need a bit more info about exactly what you've got and exactly what you want.

Hello Tivu,
I have a Sky white card and would like to keep using it if at all possible.
We borrowed a good quality generic box to test and found that a lot of the channels we got on the Pace were missing
on the Generic (sky News, BBC News, CBS Reality) although we did get CBS Reality+1 for some reason.
The same applied to the German Channels
It would appear that it skipped some Transponders or the Transponders were not even in the list.
We had the dish checked and it was okay.
That is why we were looking for an English compatable box.

Brian

Just about any generic fta receiver can be used to get the free channels.

If the none Sky box was skipping frequencies then all that means is some frequencies were missing from the internal frequency database. Thats easy to edit on almost any box.

We are always wary about recommending specific boxes, although you cant go far wrong with something like a Technomate.

Hello Tivu and Analoguesat,
Thankyou both for your advice and help.
I will certainly look at Technomate.
Thanks once again.
Regards
Brian
