Okay, just asking what new satellite receiver would you recommend as making a good Christmas present?
One that doesn't require Linux programming skills.
Motorized from 45 east to 30 west.

Well the Multistream capable Edision Primo and Octagon SX88+ are very popular right now.
 
Octagon is a very respectable brand, workhorse reliability.
 
The Octagon SX88+ is an exceptionally good satellite receiver for normal DTH TV & Multi Stream TV.
 
Edision Primo IP S2 gets my vote
