That photo was taken in Stockton, down by the river near the new water sports place thats not long opened, my gran lives in the high rise flats in the back ground

I've no idea tbh smoggy, it was just a photo I found, I wouldn't drive all that way for a jag. it would have to be something special like a Toyota Yaris

There's nothing wrong with Mondeos either - nice reliable vehicles, especially the mid-2000's era ones. DMFs can be an issue but they can be an issue on all diesels these days.

Nice engines. I believe they are a collaboration between PSA (Peugeot/Citroen group) and Ford - depending on year. I can't really think of any problems with these but be sure to use it regularly - they are known for seized failed injectors if left standing for a while.

Looks like I will be paying two lots of tax for this month, anyone know the procedure of un taxing a car.

When I scrapped my old car, a nice Peugeot 406 Executive saloon, you could claim back any unused months tax, but it had to be full months, so even if you were only one day, into the month, you lost that month.
I think I did it online, via their website.

Thanks Mick, when I taxed the pug I did it monthly because I knew I was getting a new car, so I guess I cancel the direct debit ?

Providing you've filled in the V5c form, on your log book, and sent it back to DVLA, otherwise they'll still charge you, or at least attempt to.
