Well, I certainly still miss mine, 2 years on and still on the road according to VOSA.
Nice 2.0L HDI remapped to 140bhp...
On a twin-turbo 2.2L HDI Peugeot 407 exec now
Standard 170bhp, but will remap it at some point to 200bhp+- My Satellite Setup

Mine was a 2 Litre petrol Turbo, with all the electric options, heated electric seats, multi CD, Full Leather, etc...... Unbelievably comfortable.
Unfortunately the Turbo went, along with the head gasket, so was only fit for scrap.
Replaced it with a Peugeot 407 Zenith, 2 Litre Diesel, supposed to be just as comfortable, but although it has all the electric gadgets, including some you don't want, tyre pressure monitors, that break off, it still has the full leather interior, with heated seats, but it's nothing like my old Peugeot 406 Executive, not as comfortable, and not quite as much room.
It is a lot cheaper, to run, being a diesel, and tax, but I'd still prefer my old 406.

Nice to see another Pug guy Zenith models are simpler in that they don't have those stupid DPFs, which can block and cost a lot to fix. Thankfully, they are much more reliable than on Peugeot 406 2.2L diesel models (and there's an easy way to remove them too now. I like my 407, I wouldn't say it's better or worse than a 406 - just different, and, I think, slightly better put together.
2L tubbies do tend to have turbo failures - seems to be a common issue on those.
Zenith models are simpler in that they don't have those stupid DPFs, which can block and cost a lot to fix. I liked my pug and did consider getting another, but when you look what you can get for your money there was no competition, the jag is good on MPG road tax is not bad and to me a nicer looking car,

BTW, Mick, get yourself a copy of PP2000 from Bay of e and you'll have dealer level diagnostics in your home. You can turn off and on various goodies, like TPMS sensors (replace the stems with traditional ones) and enable parking assistance for your display (will not only beep but also show whether the obstructions are). Not sure why it wasn't enabled by default.

Exactly, Martin. I don't understand why some people get a 1L petrol weakling, when you can get a much better, much more equipped car for the same money.

Car insurance has been an issue for me, I only passed my test 5 years ago, first car was a bmw insurance was £1700 for the year, ive always likes jags yes I know there not made like there used to be but I still like them, I had the bmw for about 3 months then decided to get a jag,
Bought the jag thinking insurance would be about the same price as the bm, how wrong I was it went to £3500
kept the jag for about 3 months then got a 1ltr polo 
, form a 2.5 all singing all dancing jag to a 1ltr polo is a big come down
kept the polo for 2 years then got the pug on the second year of insuring the pug March this year my insurance was down to £280 for the year jag £390

My old Peugeot 406 seemed much stronger, than the 407, I now have.
I got run into the back twice, the first time I understood it, it was wet, we were stuck in a queue, at a roundabout, due to a pedestrian traffic crossing, and his foot slipped off the break, onto the accelerator.
It wrote off his car, but didn't do much to my old Peugeot.
The second time was due to an idiot, in a sports car, 2 lanes, at a traffic light, merge into one, so they race, to get in first, this idiot was that busy looking behind him, at the trailing cars, that he didn't see the pedestrian traffic crossing, on red, with people crossing, and ran underneath me, literally.
The back,of my car, went up, and landed on his front, again hardly any damage to mine but his nice sports car was in a mess !!!!!!!

Checking these today as they are on the mot advisory, anyhow they haven't been done, glad I don't have to pay jag prices
, they are more expensive ones but I don't go very far mainly short journeys so I will go for these.
