satellitesuperstore.co.uk very very good service only took 3 days to get here.
the motor and other bits took 2 days.
always seems very good service and he knows wot he is doing.
very rare this day and age were you get good service normally when they have your money it good bye.

would like one of those but stuck with a crappy triax 90cm dish

Yeah been looking at them but can't part with the money that they charge.

Have you fitted the dish install to a 3" pole or 2"? Can't determine from the photos.

Nice setup though, still toying between the 1224 and a standard polar mount for me, but want the andrews / channel master 1.2

Forgot to mention i've found ***.satcure.co.uk for a Channel Master 1.2 * around £230 including polar mount, but never ordered from them.

Has anyone used the above people or know of cheap place for andrews dishes?

the cost all together was £485 ish thats not inc post.
but that was for dish plates and all fittings orbit motor actuater arm motor 1224 superjack mount motor EZ2000 positioner and 35 meter of motor cable.and the channel master dish and invacom lnb. it is a lot but the way i look at it, it is a one off no need to better it.

Your better paying for it now, rather than later. i've recently put my old dish up at my new house to find that the dish edges are rusting and theres too much play in the HH120 diseqc motor.

Going to have to replace it at some point but going 36v route with andrews dish.

i had a 1.2m gib dish before this you can see the difference with the signal.

How do you like the 1224? did you have a polar mount on the gib? how does it compare?

polar mount on the gib is a bit of a pig to set as the read outs on the mount mean nothing don't go by wot they say.
the 1224 seems the nuts at the moment will need to spend a little time to sort out the sats have 28e to 30w so far.

do you have a vbox to use diseqc or is it a straight separate positioner job

also are you using the a c120 flange lnb with the matching feedhorn ?

using a v-box to move the 1224 and a EZ2000 positioner to move the orbit tracking arm motor.
it is a quad C120 invacom feedhorn with a closed end feed horn does the job great keeps the crap out the end of the lnb aswell (rain spiders etc).
pulls in a great signal.

There are always channel master dishes on flea bay, there's a 1.2m and polar mount on there now, with an old echostar stb.
looks good nic too. save you a few quid.
the 1224 is the bollocks, thinking of getting one for my greg.

to be fair m8 you don't see to many channel master 1.2m on sale on fleabay only seen about 6 this year and then its if it is in your area for local pickup.
but this one looks mint if it was closer to me id have it, just for the sake of it for that price.

It's abit of a trek for me 80 -> 100miles but i'm going to keep a close eye on it.

If it comes up at the right price it'll be worth going over for it.

lol thats nothing, Traveled from S.Wales to Birmingham to get my c/master 1.8m. Strapped to the roof rack of my Astra est.

Also went all the way up to Peterborough to get my Gregorian:-carrot

A 1224 sold for about 40 quid last month, missed that one!
