I got my hands on one of the new Sqish 2 flat antenna dishes a few weeks ago but have only just got around to giving it a proper test. It's designed for discreet reception of high powered satellites. The unit is just 43cm square and you can order customised stickers to go on the front to help make it merge into the background. Essentially it's a small gregorian type prime focus dish in a plastic case with a quad LNB stuck on the back. It also comes with an assortment of different ways to fix it to poles, walls, windows or a flat surface such as a table. The LNB is removable, and can be rotated to any angle for optimal skew without having to physically rotate the whole unit like with the original rectangular Sqish.

Comparing the signals from 28.2°E using a Technomate box, on some frequencies the Sqish was a few quality percentage points lower compared to a standard Sky zone 1 dish in Buckinghamshire but it was picking up all channels no problem. I was thinking since the LNB is protected from rain (no rain drops on the focal point of the LN
it might not be so sensitive to rain fade like some other LNBs I've used in the past but without much rain I couldn't test this theory. It's also worth noting that the newer satellites like Astra 1N come in very strong indeed.
Apart from 28.2°E I was also able to pick up Astra 3 23.5°E, Astra 1 19.2°E, Hotbird 13°E, and Eutelsat 9°E quite nicely. It's not a bad bit of kit and may be useful for people who don't want or can't have a satellite dish installed on their property. It's also pretty portable and light, useful for caravan users as there are no sharp edges or LNBs sticking out out the front.
