Just moving from Freeview to Satellite Dish. Just bought a Technomate 1500 CI+.

Hello Everyone,

I have just bought on EBAY Technomate CI+ super. I wante to know whether can i use it on the Existing SKY dish. I don't have any card.

Please help me. I am new. Just moved from Freeview to DISH.
 
Yes, you can attach it to your Sky dish and use it for Free To Air Channels from 28.2/28.5E (Assuming the Sky Dish was for Sky Digital, not the old Sky Analogue?)

If you want stuff from other Satellites, you'll need to get a replacement dish (or a second dish) with either a multi-LNB bracket or some form of motorisation.

Thanks for the Message. There are 2 cables coming inside my flat from the SKY dish. Can both to be connected to my TM-1500 box or only one cable?. Also do i have to se any settings on my TM-1500 CI+ Super box?

Please advice.
 
Just connect one of the cables, as your receiver has a single tuner.

Yes, most probably you will have to rescan the 28E satellite, and maybe modify some transponder parameters too.

Press the menu button, and go into installation to gain access to do what you need. Default password is 0000 if used. Or 2011, if it has been changed to something unknown.
 
Use scan settings 'all' and 'network on' to ensure you get all the quality channels.
 
Hi,
There is no password or anything like that on my system. But when i seleted specific satellite or all satellite, and press red button to scan, it sacns all satellite & channels, but no channels i am abale to view. Its says no audio/ video signals. I tried this box on my friend's dish ( not sky dish). It picked straight away all chennals without even any viewing card. Is that a problem in the dish?. Can i purchase another dish & install for it to work?
Where & how much will it cost for the Dish, LNB , cables etc.?Please advice.
