I had Sky years ago until the box packed up so I cancelled. I am now considering getting Sky+. As I'm not a new customer I don't believe I'm entitled to any of their offers.
I will purchase a new PVR3 box and Quad LNB from http://www.simplydigital.co.uk/acatalog/Sky_Plus_Receivers.html
I can replace the LNB and do the cabling myself (anyone know where to get some of this dual core (or whatever it's called) cable?).
I also have the Sky card (with the yellow house), So I guess I just have to phone Sky to get it re-activated. Is it the same card for Sky+?
Will Sky tie me in to a 12 month contract if I phone up to subscribe to Sky+?
