Having grown increasingly tired of taking pictures of my TV for screenshots, I thought I'd invest in a capture card. So I bought an Avermedia LGP Lite USB device, which takes HDMI input (with passthrough to TV) and passes it to PC/Mac for capturing. The capture software is, as always, pretty awful - much akin to software you get with 99% with DVB cards. Too much plastic and not enough stability or functionality but I am not grumbling too much for £40.
