Is anybody able to view the new channels on 12265H 0n Sirius 4?

All I get is ghost data on this TP.

Very strong strength and quality readings from that TP but no sign of any video or audio.

Strange. Kingofsat shows thirteen named channels FTA, with screengrabs

The channels are indeed viewable, but the pids need entering manually.

TSReader showing all pids present and correct -

Howdy Llew
Flysat also indicates a number of channels on that TP. I've only just got back from a visit to Addenbrookes. So I will have a cuppa and a bite to eat and see if anything comes up on that TP.

Hope you found a parking space Parky

Expensive parking too. I use the bus now (5 minute ride with my bus pass :))

Hiya Llew
5squid for 2 hours parkiung, daylight robbery.
OK using buses if you know the area, I'll use park and ride if the situation arises again. Youngest was rushed in from Ipswich hospital on monday, tumour on the brain, op on tuesday, she's being let out tomorrow if the MRI scan is AOK. (fingers crossed).
Anyhow, back on topic, I cannot get any pics/sound off of that transponder, tried putting pids in but to no avail, just do not know what is up. 98% strength and 98% quality on a TM 1500CI+.

Same thing on my TM1000, I entered PIDs manually, but no channels are found.

Hope all went well with the op Parky. Couldn't be in a better hospital.

Regarding the pids, I first tried with my Echostar, it came up as 'no channel found' after entering the pids, then I went to the channel list, and found a blank channel had been added to the list! (no name, number or info).

I clicked on this and the channel appeared on the screen.

Same with my Fortec HD box, this time it was added to my list for that satellite, in this case it was labelled as 1201 ( the vpid for Kiss TV).

No joy, tried that TP on 3 different TM's, spent ages putting in pid's, no audio or video showing up on any of the channels.

Yes Llew, great hospital, but a warren as far as finding parking and/or wards. Results of biopsy due next thursday. Her sister is bringing her home today, I have to take her to the GP on tuesday for the staples to be removed from her head. She is a bit miffed as she is not allowed to drive for 6 months, looks as if "dad's taxi" will be in great demand:).
Thanks for your good wishes.

The problem seems to be that no PMT (Program Map Table) is being transmitted (at least in a form that some receivers can read). This identifies the video and audio streams.

Why some STB's can find the programmes and others don't must be how the software interprets the descriptor info I suppose (?)

These channels have now left this TP. Scanning the TP now, you get -

Etno
Taraf
Meteo
Canal Teleshop

All FTA.

Other channels in this bouquet are Encrypted.

Canal Teleshop at present is showing Nat Geo Music.

Llew

Getting the same as you Llew. All come up as encrypted but Etno/Taraf/Meteo & Canal Teleshop (Nat Geo Music) clearing.

Yes, Max TV were probably just using the TP for testing. Some of those channels are now on other TP's.
