Hi,

I updated my Youtube channel (_http://www.youtube.com/user/dazed1970) with two new videos:

1) Emitor Satlook - _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnVXYR_CgDI

This one shows a first generation Emitor Satlook. Nothing fancy, just rotating the dish from Astra 28.2E to Hispasat 30.0W and back to Astra 19.2E.

Unfortunatly I detected a fault with the 22kHz tone generator: it does not work, so I am stuck with Low Band only. This has led to the second video.

2) Spaun TP 204 - _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA6cLAS5TIU

This one shows the Spaun TP 204 DiSEqC Monitor. This device helps tracking down switching issues, as well as power issues. It provides outputs to use a multi meter to measure current (A) and voltage (V) between the receiver and LNB. This is useful to see how much i.e. a motorized dish drains on the receiver's tuner, or if cascading switches eat up too much current.

In this video you can see clearly how the Satlook does not manage to switch 22kHz, while another Satlook Mark III switches fine between 0/22kHz.

Hope I don't annoy you guy's with my videos...
...if not, stay tuned for more to come!

Cheers,
vma

Continue the good Job. I've run through all your youtube videos. Very well done.

Just to let you all know that there are some new videos on my Youtube channel: _http://www.youtube.com/user/dazed1970

Ah yes, ProFelec. I had the MC30A which was a cracking spectrum.

What happend to this company?

On my meter it says FELEC, but I have found the PROFELEC references, too.

I know there is/was a MC30 and even a MC60, but why is there no reference at all about the company?

Considering the fact that my MC1-SAT was produced in 1994, it is in an impeccable state and the spectrum analyzer is very useful. A shame the company disappeared without a trace.

Cheers,
vma
