Newbee needs advice on cards & cams

I'm new to the whole world of satellite TV and need some advice.

I have heard a lot about patches, dragan cams and fun cards but I'm not 100% sure how the whole thing works.

I have a manhattan starlight 6800 and would like to be able to get TPS, NBA TV etc. I'v tried getting a card in France but do not have an address to register for the service (similar to SKY TV outside UK).

What would be the best type cam and card to buy for someone living in the UK?

If anyone can point me to a tutorial or guide on this topic, I'd appreciate it.

Surely someone can help me, I see lots of posts regarding these patches, dragan cams and fun cards so you must know how they work!

Does nobody want to share their knowledge?
 
Hi Earlope, at the minute Dragon/T rex is the best cam about and will get most of whats open to view.

I can only concur with timbo86. It is a brilliant Cam
Just google for Dragon Cam and read the results, there is a lot of help out there.

TPS is hopeless at the moment - the keys are changing every few hours. Unless you find some auto updating stuff you may as well forget it.
