Hi Everyone
First a big thanks to all the people who replied and offend help to my recent queries about setting up dream box.
I have been able to do so far update image to DarkStar 2 install & configure CCam 2.13 to read s*y normal and premium via my card.
I have been able to repair Image (twice) via RS232 when the box got stuck in continuous loop after picture freeze. I have been able to manually create and modify bouquets on box itself.
What I cannot do at this moment in time is to modify bouquets via dreamboxedit, I am able to download, modify, upload, and re-download files from dream box to check if modifications were set the program window reflects the modifications but the dream box still shows the unmodified contents even if I do reset of the dream box
I am guessing that the files may not been saved in the right folders !
Can anyone please tell me?
If its normal for the dream box to be re-imaged after picture freeze and manual power down
What I need to do to get the bouquet on the dreamboxedit window and the actual dream box to be the same.
Is it normal for the box id mac adress and the dream box label have a mac address diffrent from the one my router displays after it allocates it an IP number vis DHCP
