Hi to all
many years ago i had an old fixed dish which i used for euro sport Etc, etc.
Recently i had the stupid idea to have another system , and just see what is still up there, i did not want to spend much money at the start just incase i gave it up.
Then my neibour came in and offerd me his sat system if i could take it down for him, which i did.

for the last month i have tried to set every thing up, which has been near inpossible, my problem is i have the instruction book for the technomate but nothing else.
I can at the mo get some satalites when fixed but not many, the super mount motorised dish works useing the remote to move dish east but will not move west and shows OUT on panel , if i reverse the motor wire it will then move west pressing the east button.
could any one please give me some advice on setting everything up, i am now ok in useing the technomate, but the pace realy brain stormes me trying to work it out and set up all the stops.
As of tonight the dish is pointing true south and the dish mount is centered on it 0 scale(motor caseing). and i am now thinking do i burn in a blaze of final glory or keep on haveing a go at getting it running.
Do you think what i was given is just to old to mess around with, or is it worth keeping
please help help
