hi all i am new to this never ending game i am looking for as much info as poss for setting up a motorised system dish is 80cm at the moment i am unsure of the system make etc i am needing to know where and how to obtain card's and how to program them also what cam's i will need any help is much appreciated thanks sean

Well as you do not mention what you want to view it will be difficult for anyone to help or give you advice. A number of the advertisers on this forum do cards etc just click on the links
 
sorry i forgot to put that bit...haha i wanting any channel's possible more the same as what on sky maybe with a bit of n t l/ ca ble thrown in and whatever else the receiver is a topfield tf5000cip and i do already have a selection of cams and cards but unsure if programmed... they are
astron v1.03
irdeto access
dragon twin
dragon
matrix cam
and viaaccess

cards are open platform with a red dot at top
open platform with a 7th generation logo
open platform 4th generation
and a titanium card

We would all like what sly gives us for free.....
Unfortunatly its not like that, channels come and go...
Looking at your cams the Dragon is usefull it needs to be programmed with the latest predator file which I think is 3.54 and with that you will have lots of channels available on varius sats have you got a loader card and a programmer?
You need say a loader 7 card and a cas2 progger.
 
thanks for all the info i do however understand the sat's come and go also no i dont have a programmer etc just setting everything up and need to know if its easier and better for me to learn how to prog my own cam's n card's so any info is much so appreciated

Also the card was clearing tps with a file called "who let the dogs
out"


like i really didnt understand that bit lol :-DOH2 :confused: also will i be able to use the sat for astra digi as well or is that a big nooooo i do already have sky digi package thanks again regards sean
 
Right then you need a programmer you could buy a dynamite or cas2 which would be cheaper but if you bought the dearer one a cas3 if the dragon cam was to come to the end of its life which some say it is doing then you could buy a diablo cam which is the new kid on the block and still be able to programme it with the cas3

the titanium card you have will open multivisi*n films and tp$ which are like sly entertainment channels on hotbird with a file loaded on it the file is called "who let the dogs out"

And finally you sly card will work in your dragon cam to clear whichever package you subscribe to so yes you can watch astra 2 28*
