Hello All,

I have a SS2 card connected to a Diseqc switch, which in turn is connected to two dishes pointing at Hotbird and Nilesat.

When performing a channel scan, I get all the channels by setting the Diseqc option to SimpleA and SimpleB (Hotbird/Nilesat)

Just out of curiousity, what do the other settings mean?

Pos A - Opt A
Pos B - Opt A
Pos A - Opt B
Pos B - Opt B

I cant seem to find any info on them at the DVBViewer forums or in their manual....

I am thinking of installing ProgDVB, but want to get a grip on some of the basic satellite terms first....

Thanks in advance

Not too sure, as I don't use the PC card any more, but I would guess that they are commands for using two switches cascaded.
