Advice Needed newcamd problem

hi,i have put details into newcamd 525 and it says connecting,connection failed,connection broken can annyone help please.
 
What are you trying to connect to? A receiver on your own lan or a remote server?
 
Well the remote server could be down. Or if you have paid for access the server operator may have just run off with your money.
 
thanks,i think server must be down,i thought there might be another reason like settings ect but will keep trying.
 
Just use CCCam. CCCam can connect to most servers running the following protocols.

MGCamd, gBox, CCCam, Newcs, Radegast and Camd3 plus a few of the other less well known ones.

thankyou nano i have cccam and newcamd 525 on box also got 136p is there anything else i need or could i have done something wrong?i put a channel list on but was not good
 
At the ends of the day the only way to guarantee your viewing is to buy a proper subscription to the provider of your choice.

If you have paid for access get on to your supplier. If its one of the many free lists that you can find on the net they hardly ever work.
 
I think it's a DrHD receiver going by the profile and version number, so not Linux based?
