NewTV recorder that removes adverts????

I was listening to the radio this morning and some woman said she has a new TV recorder than records programmes but removes adverts.


Damn it, I can't remember its name. Is this new thingy complete hogwash, or is it true?

If its true the advertisers will find a way around it

They have already started restructuring the way adverts are made so that even when folks fast forward through them on their pvr's the brand name & message stand out.

And of course product placement is only just around the corner so advertising will be appearing within programmes.
