Newwave NW-8800CI questions

OK then here we go. Im a bit of a noob to all of this.

Talking about the Newwave NW-8800CI -

Does anyone know where to get the latest firmware and what is the latset?
Which is the best CAM to use with this reciever?
Is the reciever patchable?
Does anyone know if the reciver is based on a Coship model as the menu system is virtually identical?!

So if anyone can answer those I would be grateful.
