My Satellite Setup
Smart lnb, 1m Gibby dish, Stab motor, TM5200D receiver, 57east to 61west. DTT from Sudbury. Virgin Media broadband.
My Location
So called capital of Suffolk, UK.
I agree with Rd100, last night/early this morning, just before and after midnight I was getting some locked signals on the H transponders.
I do not think that the transponders have increased in power, just weather conditions enabled the signals to be received.

hi,

11747v is good as i speak now it is 51% but the 11862 v now is 57% 9.30 am from hartlepool. i think if you try about 10pm tonight you might stand a chance. the dish i use 1.6 fortec, but with your 1.2 you might scrape something, but it will be difficult, because the signal can a bit awkward, i myself will be changing the lnb and getting a feedhorn

that is really low, on my 1.2 andew on 11.474v i have 79% signal qulity and on 11862v i have 83% singal qulity

i never have any problems with the vertical transponders on my 1.2 just the horizontal transponders

I get vertical transponders on my 80cm dish in SE Kent after dark
The strongest is 11823v.The ones with One TV and MBC appear later.
This evening all transponders seem slightly stronger.
I think I need to tweak the elevation a bit for a better signal.
I need a bigger dish really!!

Regards

In good weather, with a sensitive reciever, and short run of good feeder with a quality LNB then perhaps. A 1.5mtr at the very least for 24/7 in good weather.
