Especially when you consider the motor in the signal path reduces the signal by the equivalent of around 10cm to 14cm off the dish size!
 
Out of interest, just did a scan tonight on my 1m dish and, undder reasonably clear skies, I got 427 FTA TV channels and 34 FTA Radio, so still a little short of some on here.

EDIT: It was a Network Scan too, so no chance of missed transponders (indeed it picked up a couple). Additionally, not all of these are clearly receivable - many break up badly even now :(
 
Sounds just about right, neighbour: MBCs are just about stable and AD Sports are right on the cusp.
 
There's also Panorama Action and Al-Nahar Movies. English soundtracks with Arabic subtitles. New Style TV is currently showing Snow White & the Huntsman in English but with annoying adverts at the bottom of the screen. I Film English show Middle East movies dubbed into English.

sama tv is another one ive just found also at 3e and 25.5e
 
Another two on 7°W are Kanal 4 (English soundtrack movies with Arab subtitles) and DM TV....from what I've noticed they run a lot of US and UK series with original soundtrack......
 
I promise I'll stop hijacking this thread but of the channels I found, at least 3 transponders were from 8W and I can't get the MBC or AD Sports channels at the moment. MBC HD transponder comes in with low signal quality, but that whole transponder is encrypted....
 
what tp are you searching for m8 for ad sports and the mbc ?

hijacking this thread I think I win and not on topic sorry paul :-hide

Have you tried the MBC MASR transponder?......the usual MBC transponder on 11938V, 27,500, FEC 3/4 comes in here at 48% SNR. MBC MASR is on 12,322 V, 27,500, FEC 5/6 and by comparison is 58% SNR. MBC HD is normally encrypted I'm afraid.
 
I have had reception of 12322V at some point as that transponder is stored in my DVB app with channel names but, at the moment, no signal I'm afraid. It's one of those that comes in only in the evenings. 12467H for AD Sports - again it's one of those that only comes in in the evenings :(
 
It looks like Top Movies may have come to it's final reel.....transmissions have been replaced by colour bars tonight..

@ far78 I can maintain I constant lock on both tps but I am using a 1.2 dish, I don't think I would be able to do this with my 1mtr pal,
