Hello,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section - London isn't 'fringe' for Astra 2D

I have a newly installed mini-dish and cable, large numbers of channels work perfectly but I can't get Channel4 or Film4.

I am using a recent model Skystar2 PCI card and DVBDream, which reports 'no channels found' when I scan 10714 H sr22000 5/6 and (obviously) doesn't list when doing a full auto scan.

The only thing that strikes me as a possible cause is that there is some plant life slightly obstructing one edge of the dish - but I would have thought that would affect quality on all channels? I plan to get the clippers out anyway, but I'd appreciate advice on other causes.

Moved to PC Card section.

No obvious reason why not. Are the other channels On 2D OK?

The lnb might be out of tolerance for 10714 - thats the lowest frequency in use at 28E

Yes could be just a dodgy crystal i.e gone out of tolerance. try scanning in increments of 2MHz
i.e
10716
10718
10720 etc

The PLL might then pull it in
