No channels

Hi guys , not posted for a while as not been using system, I decided the other day to use it again, I've got a 80cm dish motorised and dreambox 500, it use to pick up all fta channels , but since I updated the software I can't get anything, the box boots up and Gemini logo in background , message saying dish moving to 13e but motor won't turn , any help woul be grateful

I guess you need to configure it for the motor...

Begs the question did you backup everything before updating the software and why did you update the software?

It's fta, free to air channels, I didn't back anything up , don't know why I updated, it's like when you update to latest ios software on iPhone then you regret it

Well it is perfectly normal to backup before updating anything but channels especially, cannot fathom why you would update such an old stb anyway that model is at least 8 years old if not more. I would suggest you go to the dreambox tutorials and set up again from scratch
