My problem is that vertical channels are working but not horizontal. They come and go yesterday they werent working then after a while they came back.
I have dreambox 500s with 105 cm dish, 3 LNB connected to a switch, recieving Arabsat 26, Astra 19 and Hotbird 13.

Vertical is working on all 3, horizontal not working on all 3, rescanned channels tey exist but not working. iam talking about free channels not krypted ones.
LNB are new chnaged them one month ago, the switch is few months old.

Please advice.

Thanks in advance

How long is your cable run?

If it is over 30m and/or it is of poor quality or suffering from damage/degradation (water ingress?), then the 18v required for switching the LNB polarity to H may be marginal.

Horizontal polarity needs 18volts (vertical needs 13v). The DB500's commonly have poor quality power supplies in them so it may be something as simple as the receiver cannot provide the extra voltage. Put a multimeter onto the lnb outlet on the back of the receiver and switch between H&V and see what readings you get.
