No ITV HD?

I am watching ITV fa Cup just now. When I press the red button for HD I get NO SERVICE even though HD is advertised. I can get all the normal channels and in the past when the red symbol appears top right of the screen and I press I go straight to HD. I have just noticed there isnt a red botton at the top right of the normal screen. Any ideas?

Same here (Humax HDCI-2000). It looks like a transmission fault. I just get black screen, no sound.

Hmm, and my ICORD gives a message that it's either encrypted or not being broadcast....what are they messing about at?

The smae info is being reported over on th DS forum. There has obviously been a technical screw up somewhere as the HD service is currently unavailable to everyone!

Is there any information screen showing while no transmision is broadcast?
I am trying to setup my receiver but not sure if black screen is normal or I shall have some information visible?

They have a problem with HD is all about money or shall i say the lack of it from revenue from advertiseing. ITV relies most of ther revenue from advertieing and there HD service has had to suffer for it.
Hopefully by the end of 09 things will be back on track..
Shame really as i was looking forward to more HD and i gather the same could be said for the CH4 HD service.. Unfortuneatly I cannot get CH4 HD on my Technomate non sky service . Hopefully CH4 will get there act together too.
