No power to Motor - god damn it!

Hi guys

Well after thinking I had finished my sat setup it appears that I have now lost power to my motor.

I cannot move the sat to any positions via the remote control and I have checked the LEDs which indicate power on the back of the motor and there is nothing.

I am getting a picture from the sat as it is stuck at 28.2e at the moment. So BBC1 is clear as a bell so it is definitely connected to the motor in some capacity. Can the cable be connected to he motor to receive picture but still not power it?

Or could the motor be kaput?

I have not yet ventured up the ladder yet due to the continual rain at the moment.

I am using an ***** Dark Motor with DM600m.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Problem solved - it was quite a complex solution.

I had put my normal sky sat cable in the back of my dreambox instead of my motorised one after I had done some dusting. So after cursing a thousand times at the 'xxxxing thing' it was my stupidity :-DOH2

The lesson here is don't allow men to do the housework!

Feel freeto laugh at me, point and make continual jokes at my dispense.

I will leave this thread open for comical purposes.

LOL, you are not the first to do something like that and you certainly won't be the last. :) Well done for getting it sorted though.:)

Well look at it this way - you've just reminded us all how cr*ppy Sky Boxes what with their lack of DiSEqC, restricted Symbol Rates, blah, blah ............ :)
