No sound on some Sky channels, 500s box!

Hi guys,

I have just come across another issue. I have few 500 and some 800. Everything on the 800 works a treat but i am not getting sound on few sly channels on my 500. I am running cc2.1.3 on 500 with pli image and CCcam 2.1.3+Newcs1.7 on the server. Please help!

The MTV Network channels by any chance? Change the audio to english
 
no some sly movies and family channels. I have tried all the option for audio. there is normal then AC3 and then NAR but cant hear a dam thing on them. I have also tried rescanning but no luck. have also setup another 500 and its doing the same thing on there aswell. My 800 client is working great.
 
Could well be the start of Sky's implementation of niggles like this to annoy non sky box users, they did warn everyone about exciting new anti piracy measures being implemented soon. They consider not using a sky box piracy because it is contrary to the terms and conditions IIRC.
 
Whereas many of us consider use of a Sky box to be akin to the days when the Model T was available only in black.

Restrictive.
 
If you can see video but not hear the audio it is a tuning problem. Try a rescan.

Card sharing either clears the whole stream or nothing, it is not possible for a card share to just clear video and leave the audio encrypted.
 
Are you paying for access to a commercial card (pay) server - if so no further help is permitted.
