No Zap

Just a short note for all those with withdrawl (sic) symptoms after the advent of Viaccess and SECA II.

From tonight on Hotbird the No-Zap channel puts on three apparently adult hard core films each night.

The only restriction to viewing is their request to put a parentla lock onto the channel number to prevent the kids/people of nervous disposition from looking at what could be nearly 4 hours of smut simply by accident

If this is legal in Europe then I am surprised that the BSKYB and ITVD did not think of this method of encryption months ago on their platforms. Could have saved the latters business in hindsight !

CH, I think you'll find that No Zap is on Astra not Hotbird.

Weird - almost analogue Red Hot Dutch like !

Some people suggest that quickly oscillating your (free) hand with spaced fingers in front of your eyes, removes the encryption.

Couldnt test it last night as the cat was on my lap.

Any ideas (Shahid ?)
