How much noise does the SMR1224 motor make?

I know my old Jaeger SMR99G made some annoying to noise, is the SMR1224 even worse?

The 1224s I have installed are fine, but after a few years the noise will increase as things settle down.

The best way to quieten things down is to put sand in the post.

Does it have to be sand to fill the pole? Will the sand not absorb moisture in time and start to rot the pole? Would concrete be OK to fill the pole?
Thank you for any replies as after setting up my motor and poe yesterday I realised how noisy it was, not obvious from indoors but annoying when outside, hence might upset neighbours.
regards Redmund.

Kidding right? when i had the other Jaeger motor it made such a noise that the neighbour rang on my door 3AM in the morning and asked me to shut up, hahahaha....

I live in an apartment and that damn motor sounded right into my bedroom, well, the whole damn apartment, when i opened the balcony door i could really hear how it sounded.

The neighbour that complained, she is a bitch anyway, but she sleeps with the balcony door open slightly during the night so she must heard it all night long when i was driving it.

Is it like night and day in noise if i install a Moteck SG2100 instead of the SMR1224?

re "Kidding right?" No! I posted a straightforward question. I was expecting a sensible answer, especially from yourself who has so much knowledge to pass on to others.

Can you turn the axle without the receiver when you are installing the mount?
