My Satellite Setup
No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...
My Location
Near Pontop Pike, Co. Durham
'lo, just been given my dad's old on digital box (I remember it when it was brand new, now it's all worn, used and the remote is all shiney!!!) and it has a TUTV card with it, not that I'll be needing that just yet, but anyway, rambling aside, are there any downloadable software updates for these old boxes as I had a quick OTA check and all I got was "ERROR" on the LED display, or are on digital boxes at the end of the road as far as software goes?
 
Ah well, sod the software, I read that there be no updates anywhere...

Anyway, does the CAM slot do anything on these boxes, or is it just a remnent of the 9800S (they do look identical inside except for the different tuners and the Modem on the 9850T)?
