Hello everyone..
i have a problem upgrading my nokia mm 9200 . fta1.0 . b2.00uns .
i tryed using the nokia tool (serial download) and transbox.
with the nokia tool i do everthing it's telling me to do and then i see somthing like "waiting for reciver" and nothing happens. also with the transbox i have the same problem( waiting for device or somthing like that) i chacked the rs232 cable (looked if there is a transfer with a little lamp and a baterry and saw that it has the same pin-order diagram as the manual) what could be the problem? is somthing blocking my reciver? why he is not responding to the computer? is there any program that can chack the transfer between the com port and the reciver? can i upload the software on another way?

DM800HD, DM7000 80GB HD with Asus WL330 wifi + 2GB usb drive, Skystar2.3, 2.2m Kinhuge Dish with Inverto LNB and Invacom ADF-120 feedhorn. Pace 1.3.25 and 80cm for Sky.
My Location
Lot, Dordogne, Correze border.
I would suggest checking your com port and baud rate settings.
A good place to start anyway.

how do i chack my com port and which baud rate setting need to be set?

Have you installed DVB before the patch? You must do it first.

with all the program i tryed i got timeout , waiting for device.. device did not respond error, no serial access ,ect.. mayb my FTA1.0 is too old? i am really not an expert with the upgrading recivers.. i hope someone will help me solve this problem.

Tell me what's your Boot loader.turn it off the on and see the OSD.

i am also sending a pictre of what is happening while i run the nokia serial download. you can wee that the reciver is not responding to the pc.

Nokia Serial Download Server (and Transbox) works only with Windows 98. I tried many settings with XP but does'nt seem to work. So if you have been using XP, give it a try using Win98.

In my experience, the Serial Download Server method (on Win98 of course) is very reliable and worked 100% even when the firmware is badly damaged.

I've not had any experience with DVB2000 or what you do with it, but google comes up with the following page for "9200 dvb2000":
