Help Required Norsat C-Band on Gibertini 150

Hello guys !

I've try to grab C-Band with my Gibertini 150 + LNB with Conical scalar ring with poor results.

Yes, i know that 150cm are very few for C-Band but i think with a Norsat LNB i will get better result.

What type of feedhorn i need for mount a Norsat 8000 series on my dish ?

.... the absolute simplest option for a Norsat 8000 series Cband lnb using a 229G flange would be something like this. Use your conical scalar ring on it and not the "flat" type that comes with the one shown in the link.

Remember that C-band signals are often fairly weak. Try the 20E sat - some of those frequencies are gettable on a 1m - Ive done it

So i can mount a chaparral polarotor ? Have it a flange for a Norsat + offset dish ? chaparral.net/feed-horns/polarotor

I get some channels on 20E, 3E, 5W, i will get better with a Norsat lnb!?!?

... the link you gave does not bring up a specific product with me, but on that site there is the same thing that i first pointed out and comes with it's own conical scalar. The model number is FC-JSPOS.

Your next problem for you will be how to mount this unit or any of the lnbf type devices onto your present dish. Good luck with it, it is an interesting band to view.

.... Good stuff, i also bought one of those simple C-band feeds after mentioning them to you to do some experimenting with ;) Have you managed to get a dielectric plate to use for circular polorised signals ?
