Not recognising hdd

My Satellite Setup
Fortec Passion box.
Dell Dimension desktop.
My Location
Essex coast
Hi ! Fellow members My Gigablue Quad Plus is not recognising the 1 TB WD elements USB Hdd which was originally formated when used with an Icecrypt 3250 .
My question is as follows :there are around 60 GB of wanted files on the above Hdd will I have to save these files to my PC and then re-format the Hdd or is there another way.
I would like some of these files to be available on this Hdd.
